The last two Saturdays we have eaten here, very happily, while being entertained by exactly the sort of music which we would pay high prices for in the UK. Last week we had 'Jazzy' - a glorious girl singer with a great voice - this week we had the sublime Saxophone player - 'Serge' with an amazing repertoire of over 800 tunes, which he adjusted to suit his audience.... The restaurant faces towards the sea - if there are crowds it can get very busy. The food is mid-range and delicious. but there is no premium for the addition of the music. I must add that our waitress was kind enough to remember us after the first visit - We will definitely make a return visit.

This is a favourite restaurant for us. Great seafood at reasonable prices in a lovely seaside setting.

My girlfriend and me went to Beziers for a couple of days, and once arrived there we decided to go to the beach taking in advance the opportunity of the weather. And looking for a place to have lunch, we found Le Phare. Staff really kind, food delicious, an excellent wine, better views( front of the sea) and price for all the pockets. Menus from 16,90 € with a gorgeous variety of food.In my opinion, 100% recommendable for each one that visit the area. Thanks to all the staff for the stay. If we back Beziers, will go back here.

We called in here around 3pm on a blustery February afternoon. It was one of the few places open and we fancied a coffee. It has great views overlooking the beach and was nice and warm. We were served quickly and politely and enjoyed a couple of very tasty home made crepes which were nice and hot (hard to find sometimes) and the coffee and tea were very welcome too. Bit pricey really but they had a captive audience at this time of year. The place was clean but I'd suggest a hook to put your coat and/or bag on in the toilet.

Having been disappointed to see so many Trip Advisor reviews for Valras Plage praising pizzas, we set out to find a restaurant which served what Valras is most famous for. It was not easy in April to find places which offered the traditional plateau de fruit de mer, Eventually we found Le Phare right on the seafront. The plateau included plentiful oysters, mussels, prawns, whelks and langoustines. It was very reasonably priced and service was rapid. We accompanied the meal with a glass of the local Picpoul wine.We arrived at about 12.45 for lunch and by soon after 1 pm the place was packed, mostly with French people. So don't leave it too late, even though there are plenty of tables. As well as seafood, they offer a wide variety of meals, including a menu of the day.

This is the first ever poor review I have written. Went for Sunday lunch on a beautiful Sunday in February. The restaurant was very busy so we were glad we had booked a table. It was 20 minutes until our order was taken, no drinks or water. When they did arrive, no pretzels like every other table. Not bothered as it was a gorgeous day. But 70 minutes later still nothing. When the wine came we had to ask the waitress why other tables had arrived, eaten and departed and we were still waiting. We were only five people. Moule frites for three, plat du jour the other two. Eventually it arrived. The waitress apologised for our interminable wait....her words. The food was good. But when it came to the bill, one of our party questioned one figure. She only asked a question. We had already paid in full. The manageress then flew into a rage and said that she hated the english, they really peed (used much worse language..... We all speak french) her off. Dreadful . So many good restaurants in Valras Plage that we will never return to this one. We wouldn't recommend it either.

We walked along the beach on a beautiful sunny winter day and then stopped here for Moule Frites. Wow, the moule were big and juicy and so tastey and the frites were fresh and crisp and all for Euro 10. Great food and great value.

The staff aren't so friendly here. It's a shame because it is in such a lovely location. I think if you went with friends it wouldn't be so bad as you woldn't notice so much. They don't have highchairs which makes it pretty much impossible to go with a toddler.
