What is it about the majority of Italians that makes them instantly likeable??? This street-side restaurant has plenty of seating inside but we opted for a pavement table as the sun was roasting. It is in a pleasant location on the banks of the canal, and in the centre of a triangle that has as its points the Cathedral, the University, and the European Parliament building. The nice Italian lady who served us was hilarious trying to explain what was on the menu, and laughed and giggled with us in our total lack of comprehension. In the end we just had a Panna Cotta, a Banana Split and a couple of coffees, and were well satisfied. It closed for the afternoon but they urged us to linger, use their wifi, and use the loo if we wanted.Lovely little place.
