We were greeted and shown to a table with a wonderful view over the gorge and were promptly served with a varied plate of tapanade and sausage with a welcomed jug of water. We ordered a demi of white and waited a short while for the bbq food which tasted wonderful and there was lots of it. A large lamb chop, sausage and gammon severed with salad and fries. Then followed a wonderful ice cream. Cost for 2 of us 40 euros. They have been there for 25 years and we were pleased to be able to return and have the same high quality service and food. Thank you Le petit jardin for letting us re live the memory of a special day we shared 20 years ago so pleased to find you still there !.

We know the places and this wonderful gourmet and generous cuisine!The restaurant is now closed. . but what a shame!I know that they will continue the catering part with a local on thiverville and will devote themselves to their restaurant of bernay .the best restaurant in the region was this one!!!!

Sadly all a bit poor. €12.50 per person for a buffet lunch. Both the cold and hot options looked as though they had been sitting there for about a week and sadly tasted the same. A 'quick lunch' for 6 people with 3 panache's and some coffees somehow came in at just under €100 - not sure how the owner worked out their prices but we just paid and made a welcome exit. We certainly will not be going back!
