We stopped in Brousse le Chateau for lunch, as we had been exploring the Vallee du Tarn and this was about half way through our day's journey. The village is one of the "Plus Beaux Villages" of France and quite charming. For a part of France which, although very beautiful, is not that well known to tourists, it was a lovely surprise to find a logis, as they are always dependable. This one was no exception, however we had had a large breakfast and none of us was particularly hungry, so we all had a light lunch, in spite of the tempting menu. We all started off with a very tasty soup followed by equally tasty and perfectly cooked omelettes. We all finished our meal with a slice of apricot tart, but this was disappointing as the pastry base was very hard.
