After finally finding a car park, we stumbled upon this bistrot, terrace leading almost right out into the car park. Not a very scenic location, but we spotted several people in and outside. The whole environment looked nice, the people happy, and we were hungry. Inside it looks like a nice bright country home, and the staff made us feel very welcome. Just to mention it, we never ever got this attitude of French not wanting to speak any other language than French. Also here, immediately the waiter started to explain the menue in English. They had grilled sardines, a must-try for us. I had the moules marinieres, which arrived in the typical emaille black pot. they were delicious and the bread to mop the sauce up with was fresh. The sardines were excellent as well...since you get 6 or 7, quite a challenge to finish all, especially if nice fresh fries come with them. As desert we had creme brulee, quite remarkably done. All in all a very pleasant experience.
