Visiting friends who live near the Loire, this was their choice for a busy Saturday night before Mother's Day. Every table was full, and from our selections rightly so. The restaurant is friendly, unpretentious and very moderate for the quality of the cuisine. Quenelles and foei gras were recommended, and they were excellent. I also enjoyed a Pamentier de lapin. The shredded rabbit and potatoes were a hearty and delicious dish. Desserts were fine but not exemplary. The wine list was wide ranging and very fairly priced. On an extremely busy night, the service was extremely efficient and friendly. Our friends told us that many Parisians have second homes in the area. The mix of locals, big city folks and us was interesting. It is always nice to be a part of a convivial crowd. We can see why this is one of their favorite places to dine. There is limited parking, but somehow everyone found a place.
