Having received a strong recommendation to eat at Le P'tit Loup, we reserved a table for Friday lunch, enjoying the four-course, €13.00 menu de jour. A delicious lentil salad, with the rich and darkening flavour of lardons, was followed by a generous serving of bœuf bourguignon - a benchmark incarnation of this Gallic classic. An interesting cheeseboard was then rounded off with a fresh fruit salad, Greek yogurt, and honey. Coffee and wine was included in the price, and everything was cooked and served by the charming proprietor, Bernadette.
