"Also during our second visit to Überlingen we had much more luck with the weather again, with a wonderful sunshine we enjoyed the stroll through the Unterstadt and along the waterfront. The exterior tables of the various gastronomic establishments on the promenade were partly completely occupied. Alone, either the offers as such or the prices called for did not find our interest, and so we left at the end of the promenade towards Unterstadtstraße. There we went straight to an Italian restaurant, which has a large terrace at the level of the first floor. We climbed up the stairs and had the luck that just a table was released in the first row, which we then immediately occupied with a fitting. Shortly afterwards, a waiter came to our table, greeted us with lousy words and handed us the menus. This somewhat burschikose, but according to my feeling, he also put on the other tables the day, while we deepened into the menu. (In another portal I have read that the staff is cheeky!... . The offer of the house does not offer any surprises, Italian cuisine with the famous classics, wood stove pizza, pasta, salads, steaks and fish. Theoretically, the menu should also be visible on the homepage, but there are probably problems, I could not call it at any rate. When the waiter came back to the table, we ordered “Spaghetti Livornese, with peas, mushrooms, cream, tomato sauce and ham” (8.00 € for Madame, with a bottle of water (0.5l for 3,80 € ), for me “Pizza Purgatorio, with tomatoes, cheese, gorgonzola cheese and spicy salami” (9,50 € and one0,5 Heel. The waiter thanked himself, left a fresh spell and rushed to the kitchen. Right after, he came back and served the drinks. In the next waiting period, we could see the tourist flows well from our elevated place and make some nice observations. At the same time, the terrace also filled more and more, and our waiter, who was alone in the service so far, came quite to speed. After some waiting time he came back to our table and served our food. The spaghetti for Madame, with freshly chopped parsley, hid somewhat in the trough of a large presentation maker, the portion seemed a little short at first glance. My pizza had almost 30 cm in diameter, a crispy edge and a thin bottom, but it was quite viable. The coating with the sharp salami and the two cheeses made the tomato sauce almost completely disappear. The taste was very good, just as I expected after the description, the salami had a very respectable sharpness. In the course of the meal, spaghetti on Madame's plate became more and more, although her food tasted very well, she had to give up after 3⁄4 of the portion. This time I couldn't help her, but my pizza had completely saturated me. The final toilet visit confirmed the general impression of cleanliness in this restaurant, there was nothing to complain about. Therefore, I cannot understand separate negative votes on this House."
