"Visit of 29.07.2015 for breakfast: monthly breakfast at 6.50€ very tasty, abundant and fair calculated. 1 rolls, baguette, 2 slices of bread, salami, cold cut, cheese, marmelsde, a breakfast egg and coffee groundless, which last lifts my review. The light-flooded, tastefully decorated Café Restaurant is located on the upper floor of the Dom Galerie in the heart of St. Wendel. The restaurant is very family-friendly, as the café offers – unique in the vicinity of St. Wendel – a very large and friendly bright children's playroom. There the little ones can really thrive and the parents can eat grandparents in peace. The staff of Café Balduin is always motivated, friendly, attentive and fleeting. Breakfast: you can choose between breakfast buffet for €9.50, including coffee or tea “capped” or one of the breakfast options a la carte, from “Balduin for children”, a children’s breakfast with bread, butter, mussel and a cup of chocolate to €2,90 to “Balduin Gourmet” with bread, bread, butter, jam, breakfast jam, sausage, cheese, etc. Breakfast is up to zero eight fifteen baking rolls I prefer baked goods from bakers around the corner absolutely ok. The supplements – sausage, cheese, salmonco – can be seen. Also the cake buffet with homemade cake, looks pretty appealing, the piece of cake costs 1.70 €, a piece of cake 2,50 €. Now to the warm dishes. In addition to snacks, salads, carvings and turkey steak variations, Café Balduin also offers a weekly changing lunch table. I chose the Swiss sausage salad with roast potatoes at 5,50 €. I rated the canopy two years ago and I'm sorry it didn't change much. The food can't be so convincing. The best were the roast potatoes, precooked, quartered and nicely rugged, they tasted pretty good. On the other hand, the sausage salad – I can't express it differently – tasted like from the plastic cup of the discounter, too much oil, slightly sweetish, the sausage not bite-resistant, the cheese soft as melted cheese, as well as cucumbers and coarsely cut onions in consistency and taste. It was almost good that the part was not very lush, more I would not have eaten. Rating: Breakfast 3*, lunch table 2* Conclusion: Café with attractive breakfast, beautiful playroom for children, food without highlight – there is air on"
