I LOVE 7 leaves cafe! It’s fair to say that it’s my favorite tea shop around. 7 leaves has a unique collection of coffees and teas that are so consistent in their flavor, sweetness, and proportions. It’s because of their consistently high quality product and friendly customer service that I always make an effort to stop by one of their cafes when I’m in the area. Yesterday was my first time going to this Garden Grove (Westminster) location and I was exited to discover that this is THE original 7 leaves cafe location and now this cafe is spreading all across the US! I had the pleasure of meeting Donald who has been working here since 2012 or so and he really knew the company and its beverages...
I ordered a jasmine milk tea with light sweetness and light ice, but it turned out to be very sweet. Despite this, the tea flavor was strong, which I enjoyed. I have noticed a trend in boba places making their drinks overly sugary, which I find disappointing. I suspect that the milk teas may be sweeter than other options, but I will update this review after trying a non-milk tea.
In terms of dietary restrictions, this place is good for those who are lactose-free but not suitable for diabetics or individuals trying to reduce their sugar intake. Parking is limited, but there is ample space inside for wheelchair accessibility.
I rarely go to Garden Grove, CA but was here for business. I was craving for fresh coffee so checked this spot out in the early morning before a surf sesh. I was pleasantly stoked with their breakfast and fresh drip coffee using this chill and modern style contraption...BRah, I sound hipster-cool...not.
I have experienced some places where I order online and when I arrive, my food is not ready or they have just started preparing it. However, this is not the case here. The drinks are always ready and perfect, the service is excellent, and the staff is great. Thank you.

We were close to 7 Leaves and enjoyed walking there several times. My son enjoyed the Mung Bean tea, and I have to say it was pretty good. I had a matcha tea that I really enjoyed. The kids liked all the add-ins, but I preferred the tea.
I can't recall her name, but when I walked into the restaurant not knowing what crystal boba was, she helped me understand and I ended up trying it. She was very helpful and I recommend trying the house coffee.

Most Asians love the desserts at this restaurant because everything tastes amazing. You should give them a try too.
