The food was good but I don’t like the atmosphere. Idk why they need 5+ waiters for a small restaurant like this (most of them were just standing there). It’s supposed to be a romantic night but the vibe was off when you have at least 3 waiters staring at you eat. At the end, the table next to me received a meal on the house and we got nothing. Idc about the free meal since me and my girl were full but it just seemed like we weren’t welcome after the waiters did that. Maybe you have to order at least $100+ to get a complimentary meal, and it’s likely the table next to me just happened to order $100+ although it seemed to me we got the same bill.
Staff were so friendly here but the food was very much style over substance. Octopus was chewy and very fishy. Steak and uni were great. Tteokbokki was tasty but the burrata was a strange addition and didn’t really work. Scallops were tasty but lacked the jjajang taste- also very fishy so I wonder how fresh they were The gochuchang margarita was also not great, the gochuchang sank to the bottom the drink didn’t mix so it wasn’t very pleasant Great intentions with this restaurant to modernise Korean food but the execution needs work. The food was excellent, but the service left much to be desired. We made a reservation for 9:30, but by 10:30, we were told we had to leave. We hadn’t even finished our meals when they brought out our dessert, and right after placing it on the table, they took away our dirty plates. The high prices are not justified by such poor service.
Highly recommend finding elsewhere to dine.Service was very inattentive and had to get up several times to flag a waiter when we needed something (after waiting 10min or so).Food was mediocre at best. Dishes mashup of flavors that didn't really work at all. Not sure if its related but my girlfriend also had food poisoning the next day. Réservez une table maintenant
