The BBQ grill was burned and produced thick smoke, creating an unpleasant odor. After only grilling a few pieces of meat, our waiter left without replacing the grill, and we had to ask for a new one ourselves because the smoke was unbearable. Meanwhile, other staff members were busy cleaning tables nearby and completely ignored the smoke issue from our grill. The restaurant wasn't even busy at the time! At other 99 locations, the staff actively helps with grilling, making for a delicious and efficient meal. Try and hold it in if you can, bathrooms are horrendous. We beat the rush and didn’t get our drinks until 20 minutes after ordering and having to ask for them. Sauce bar was missing all the staple ingredients so we weren’t able to enjoy our bbq.Meat was frozen. Hot pot soup base was more like water from a mop bucket. The tap water they served was undrinkable; dirty cupsand could not identify what was floating in the water. I had an amazing dining experience thanks to the food served by Waiter Zheng. Everything was in excellent condition and tasted incredible! He has a wonderful personality and is particularly great with kids. I highly recommend requesting Zheng as your waiter! In terms of kid-friendliness, the staff were outstanding! They treated us with respect and were quick to apologize for any misunderstandings.
Despite these problems, we were lucky to have a friendly server who checked on us often and even took it upon himself to cook our food on the grill once we placed it there—something I’ve never encountered at a KBBQ restaurant before. This was my first experience with hot pot, and it was fantastic! There are a wide variety of food and drink choices available, and I loved the sauce bar where you can mix your own sauces. The food was served extremely quickly as well. I also have to say that the restrooms were the cleanest I've ever encountered. I highly recommend this place!
This is the first time I have ever tried hot pot and it’s absolutely delicious!!!! There are so many food and drink different options to choose from. They also have a sause bar where you can make your own sauces. The food came out super fast. I must addthe bathrooms were the cleanest I have ever been in. Highly recommend!
I visited this restaurant with my friends for dinner today, and I would give my overall experience a perfect 10/10. The food was excellent, the service from our waiter Erica was outstanding, and the drinks were fantastic. It's a wonderful spot to enjoy a meal and relax with friends or family.
I've been going to various hot pot restaurants for several years. 99 Favor Taste is not the best of the bunch in New York City, but it is none the less a solid choice. Nothing is exemplary, but nothing is bad. Think of it as the Starbucks of New York hotpot. Réservez une table maintenant
