Above At The Georgian House

The area is nice convenient for sightseeing or a theatre trip. We stayed in one of the Enchanted Chambers. It was said to be concealed behind a bookcase door on the lower ground level of the hotel, along a portrait-lined passageway bathed in candle light but it wasn't, it was just off reception on the ground floor. The room was quirky had a Harry Potter feel, but also tiny quite tatty. Tried to watch the morning news but all channels were pixelated to the point of unwatchable. The bed was small but very comfortable. Breakfast was the biggest disappointment the vegetarian sausages were the worst I ever tasted what I imagine to be like chewing the sole of an old sandal. This somewhat hidden gem is a delight for a solo traveler. I’ve stayed here twice in one of the tiny single rooms on transits through London. The charming townhouse offers a mix of historic character and modern comforts, close to Victoria Station but in a quiet neighbourhood. The staff is welcoming a friendly, and the breakfast is delightful. Altogether an outstanding value.

Such a lovely character-filled hotel and an amazing breakfast. We were on the top floor and it's a lot of steps so would call ahead if you have mobility issues to ask for a lower floor. That said, the bedroom was ridiculously cosy and the shower amazing! Had a lovely stay.

Absolutely fantastic from the moment we arrived. The Wizarding Room and activities were spot on. Staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely stay.
