This restaurant is named after a father and son duo, with "abu" meaning "the father of" in Arabic. The cuisine is Iraqi and the dining room is beautifully decorated with bright red banquettes, woven tapestries, and colorful ceramics. Iraqi flat bread sprinkled with sesame and nigella seeds is served with every meal, along with Torshi pickles that are crunchy, salty, and sour. The kubba al mosul, a fried version of the Lebanese dish kibbeh, is a must-try. The signature dish, Parda Plaw, may not look remarkable but is definitely worth trying.
Hands down my favourite restaurant in Sydney. A hidden gem and in Fairfield of all places. Setting is stunning, ambiance on point and food is out of this world. Fine dining feel at very affordable prices. All of the staff always make us feel special too shout out to Maggi (Restaurant Manager) and Jason (Exec Head Chef). Can't help but keep coming back !!
I recently discovered this hidden gem in the outskirts of Sydney. I brought my mother here for her birthday and we were both impressed with the excellent food and service. While the desserts were decent overall, only the Panna Cotta stood out as exceptional. Despite this, I would definitely return to this restaurant and highly recommend it to others.

This restaurant offers upscale dining in a unexpected location. The service was of a high standard and the food was exceptional overall, although the risotto and gnocchi were slightly too salty. The dishes were beautifully presented and I look forward to returning to try more items on the menu.
Abu Ali stands out in Fairfield despite the fact that you're surrounded by middle eastern restaurants left, right and centre. The food is great and filling (you'll want to come on an empty stomach). Being Iraqi born, I truly walked away feeling extra proud of my heritage.
5 stars are not enough for this place. Wonderful place to hangout and enjoy meals with friends and family. The food is just marvelous and reasonable price. Love it! Must visit at least once.
Delicious food, Try the quozy. Lovely sauce, slow cooked meat, and bread soaked in the sauce make for the best comfort food! Check out the delicious sesame bread as a side.

Hard to find a decent Kebab joint in Australia, but this place has Amazing food, Great service and the owner brought the food to me personally, Definitely coming back!
Really good Iraqi food. I recommend 3 kebab plate with the yogurt drink. You can't go wrong, I get it every time. Lamb Biryani is really good too!
