Ajitoya - Réservation de table

A great little neighborhood gem! My first two visits were great. My third visit was a bit disappointing. I ordered a soba noodle and beef soup bowl. The beef was (as I found out after) from a roast. It was dry and game(y) tasting. I am going to chalk it up to me not being a big red meat eater. Everything else that I have ordered has been delicious though. I would like to see this place adding sushi to the menu instead of the pre-made sushi boxes. The pre-made sushi boxes are still delicious there is just a smaller selection of options. This is our local Japanese so we often go for a family dinner. The chicken curry udon is really tasty but doesn't ever have enough chicken. Sushi, dumplings and foxy udon(vegetarian) is fab. Make sure you truly a saki trio of taster glasses and you'll be floating out the door. The service is always good, at times it's hard to get a table so book ahead. The price is above average which I occasionally baulk at, but the positives far out way the negatives if you love Japanese food like we do.

what a find! i dipped in for a quick snack at this little low key restaurant, had the salmon and avocado sushi roll which was super moist, fresh and so yummy. it was a pleasure to chew each grain of rice that popped in my mouth. i must go back to try other stuff on the menu!

The restaurant is tiny (which helps to give a sense of being in a Japanese home). Service was very friendly and efficient. Food was quite good except for the tuna tetaki that was not as fresh as expected in a Japanese restaurant and the sauce was quits strange. Réservez une table maintenant

I have eaten on numerous times and never been disappointed. The food and staff are both delightful. Their portions are not oversized, which I think a lot of Australian restaurant could learn from. Quality not quantity!

Love this little Japanese restaurant; the food is always delicious, the staff are lovely and they have little know Japanese beers to try. I love having a local like this just around the corner.

Their sushi is always fresh and the ramen is so comforting on a cold day. I love coming here for a quick bite or a leisurely dinner with friends. Definitely a hidden gem in the neighborhood.

This Japanese restaurant in Seddon is fantastic! In addition to great food, they also have a variety of Japanese items for sale near the kitchen.

Love this place. Everything is delicious. Hardest thing is deciding what to order. It gets quite busy so be prepared to wait. Staff are lovely.
