UPDATE: There was a short period of time that the quality of food improved along with the service. I changed my review to 5 Stars. But that was temporary. Our last few visits have been disappointing with a noticeable change in ingredients and quality. But the real issue on my last visit was the attitude of the owner. I ordered enchiladas which I used to get fairly often. The ingredients had changed significantly and I couldn't eat it due to my dietary restrictions. I sent it back and let them know that the changes caused an issue for me. The owner became a bit irate and nasty. Not only did he get an attitude but he refused to remove the item from our ticket. We ducked off I-40 to avoid a heavy rain storm and found this place. The service was very slow but the burger and Indian fry bread was very good. We know the tip about saving the edges of frybread to eat with honey for dessert. Waitress said they didn't have honey. When we asked for our ticket, she found the honey. ??? The water glasses were completely covered with a film. My suggestion is to soak them in vinegar and water and they will look cleaner
We hadn’t been in years, was craving the chicken salad croissant…after weeks of forgetting the aren’t open on Sundays/Mondays, we finally made in. To our dismay the service was awful, the amazing part was each server had only 1 or 2 tables. Queso is literally melted Velveeta, no chili, last I checked New Mexican Queso has chili in it. The seasoned fries had no seasoning were cold. All I can is BIG SAD.
The beans on the enchilada plate were undercooked. Can’t believe they are passing on to the customers 4 cents on the dollar for every dollar spent if they use a credit card. I got charged 97 cents on a 24.30 bill then 12 cents on the $3 tip for the lady handing me my food out the window. They say they give you a cash discount if you pay cash guess I will see how much that is if or when I go again.

Only one visit here (so far), but I will definitely return. The crazy larry omelet was delicious and I love any place that serves brinner. The staff was extremely courteous and prompt. Thank you, EMG. Look forward to the next stop as that patty melt is beckoning me back sooner rather than later.
The food is very good. The staff is very friendly. They are always smiling. Their coffees are delicious. Very homey atmosphere. Overall, a pleasant dining experience. I will definitely be going back.
The options for dining out are limited in Edgewood, but I'd drive in from Albuquerque to eat here as much as possible. Everything I've ever ordered has been delicious.
Excellent restaurant, we have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner here food was good. Services was great. I would recommend eating here.
