We started at Willy’s but found you had to be 18 to sit at bar and my grandson was to young. Wish I knew before driving the 50 minutes but maybe a join error since they never asked during booking.. Willy’s told us of their sister restaurant close by so we took the walk. The place looked nice so we hoped to have a great meal. I got a sirloin strip on the specials and grandson got a ravioli and steak tips. My steak had more gristle than meat and I ate very little. The mushrooms were great and the mashed potatoes were very good. Grandson said his steak wasn’t that good and the ravioli was not that good either. Let’s hope dessert can save a not so great experience.
This was our second visit to the restaurant, and we definitely plan to return. The portion sizes are generous enough for us to enjoy multiple meals, with leftovers to take home for an additional two or three servings. We tried the pasta and meatballs (with sausage added), chicken piccata, bioccole, filet, and cannelloni fiorentina, and each dish was outstanding. We also indulged in desserts: limoncello cake, carrot cake, and crème brûlée. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.
I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience! This place deserves a 10/10 for being the best Italian restaurant in Shrewsbury. I've only tried the takeout, and it was fantastic. The food was well-packaged, with takeout boxes wrapped in plastic to keep everything hot. The quality of the food was excellent, the portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable. Highly recommend!
We tried Amici for the first time to celebrate a birthday. The service was good but the food was just okay. The apps and salads were great and nice sized portions however the main course was average. The dessert was large but we only ate a couple of bites.

Every time I've been here, the experience has been absolutely phenomenal. The food is freshly made and incredible, the staff is attentive and fun, and the place is tastefully decorated. Truly a hole-in-the-wall.
Amicis has been in Shrewsbury forever. We love to have family dinners there, is cute, quaint, food is great, good music. Service is great.! Definitely recommend it.Amazing place in the center of town.Love it!

Not much parking, but they have valet.No waiting area so we were in the way while we waited. The food and the service were stellar and the prices are more than reasonable.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

6:30 reservation and it is 7 and we are still waiting and rather than be honest they say the 7 reservation and blamed other customers. Manager is rude!
