We were traveling down from Sussex to Lizard point, we had been held up by every roadwork possible and were in need of good food and a nice setting. That is exactly what we found at Angarrack Inn! Below the imposing arches of a huge via duct, nestled in a quaint setting sits this delightful Inn. From the minute we arrived we were greeted by one of the staff , who found us a table and made us feel so welcomed. There was a wait, as they were busy always a good sign) which was no problem, it gave us time to relax and peruse the menu. We decided to visit this restaurant based on the positive previous reviews that mentioned a vegan menu with more than 5 options. However, it seems that things have changed since then. Currently, there are only two vegan main dishes available and no specific vegan menu. Despite this, there are some appealing vegetarian options on offer. The restaurant has a classic country pub interior and a few picnic benches outside for seating. Conveniently, there is parking available just outside the pub.
The food was delicious and the portions were really generous. The chips were really good. I wanted sausage and mash but they only had mash made with butter, so I opted for chips instead. The chips were excellent, so it worked out fine. They only offer ice cream for dessert. The sausages and burger were tasty. It's a cozy local pub that was quite busy. The staff were very friendly.
I would give this restaurant 5 stars if I could! There are at least 5 vegan options, including dessert, on the main menu and a few more on the specials board. The staff are very accommodating and make sure to check your dietary preferences when you order, outlining all the options available. The pub is situated in a beautiful setting and we are already planning our next visit.

Came here before seeing the lights, and was wonderfully surprised. The staff were welcoming and knowledgeable and the vegan options on the menu. Food was great and even had deserts which is a pleasant find. Definitely recommended if you're in the area :
