I had a negative experience with this restaurant. I placed an order through Grubhub, and when the delivery driver arrived, he started pressuring me for a tip. I prefer to tip within the app if everything goes smoothly. The driver claimed he was the owner and insisted on receiving a cash tip, even asking how much he would get and when. It felt unsettling and made me feel threatened. As a senior, I've never encountered such an issue with Grubhub delivery before; this was truly unusual. While I do believe in tipping delivery drivers well for good service, I find it unacceptable for someone to show up at my door demanding a tip. It comes off as rude, creepy, and in very poor taste. No one to do with Angelico Pizzeria in Washington DC, the food has the same price but it doesn't taste the same, also the place is very dirty and they grab everything without gloves and they don't wear hairnets... We've ordered from Angelico for 5 years and have always loved that the food is fresh and delivered quickly. Recently, the pizza has less sauce and toppings. The staff here are incredibly friendly and the food is fantastic! I frequently stop by after work to pick up some takeout.
