Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza

My wife and I had great hopes for this place after seeing the stellar reviews. And honestly the place is nice. Pasta is ok and pizza is good but not great. We were going to come back and give it a second chance but service was less than stellar. Our waitress, Kay, attended us for a brief moment. Took our order, brought our food out and never again to be seen even though we did want another glass of wine, and dessert. She appeared only to ask if we wanted a to-go box. Instead of asking is there anything else you need, maybe another glass of wine or dessert.... Here is your box and the check. We won't be back.

I ordered pasta and a pot of meatballs, but when I picked it up, I was given just two tiny breadsticks to accompany a pot of sauce that included 13 meatballs! I paid nearly $60 for these two items and was left feeling disappointed. I had heard from many people that the meatballs were homemade, but they certainly didn’t taste that way. The sauce was decent, but it couldn't mask the taste of frozen meatballs. The only positive aspect of my order was the charming little pot it came in. I won’t be returning, as the food didn't meet my expectations for the price.

Melissa is the absolute best. I had a medical issue where I was hospitalized recently and she was so accommodating and caring. She held great conversation and made me feel valued and appreciated. Like wow this place is lucky to have her! Bless her! She is literally such a gem! A true asset and so lovely and pretty! Nate their manager is superior! Honestly like no manager I’ve come across before. He is a master of his job! A highly valuable asset to this company! Melissa and Nate should get raises!

This pizza could be good because the sauce is great. Unfortunately, they dollop the sauce on the pizza and this makes most of the pizza dry AF. Also, not sure why the crust is so thin as this is a coal fired pizza. Having a puffy, cracker like crust would do this wonders. They'll probably never change a thing since this is a chain but they should. Réservez une table maintenant

The pizza and food here are excellent, though on the pricier side. While it may not be the absolute best pizza I've ever had, it’s still quite good. The server was friendly and attentive, and the food was served promptly. They certainly don’t hold back on the toppings!

Pizza tasted great. I split their square Margherita pizza with my friend. Crust was crispy but had some spring to it where it mattered. The plum tomato sauce was really good too. Server was attentive and service was prompt. No complaints.

The pizza was very good but for some reason it took about 45 minutes. They may have lost my order, however there was one other couple in the place. Very odd! The waitress was very nice and apologized as much as a Bostonian can.

I ordered chicken wings for takeout, but they arrived burnt! After I reached out, the manager called me and offered complimentary wings. I chose the garlic sauce this time, and they were so much better! Thank you! Réservez une table maintenant

Came in on a super busy Friday evening with 2 servers and a full restaurant. Diana was great and brought us a new pizza when the first one was too well-done. Great service

My favorite pizza near my home. Pizza always cooked to perfection! Love the eggplant pizza! Meatballs are good, also.
