Had dinner here tonight with my husband and daughter. We ordered Penang char fried kway teo, hoi fun and special fried rice. Apart from the hoi fun, the special fried rice was the worst I've eaten all my life. There were lots of white lump...of rice on the dish, no taste and hardly any meat. Terrible! The fried rice was brought out about twenty minutes later after my daughter went and asked as they had clearly forgotten about it. The char kway teo was not any better. It was dry, tasteless and horrble. How can they serve food that are so terrible and charge so much? We will NEVER return to this place. The worst food ever.
Was referred to try this restaurant by a foodie friend. Came yesterday for lunch. Its a small cafe/restaurant and very busy still at 2.00pm. Located in a complex which houses several similar small take away/cafe style restaurants. There is plenty of parking available. Because of...its size, you will need to share tables. You order and pay by the counter and they will bring the food out to you so there is no wait service. You also help yourself to the cutlery and condiments. Food we ordered came quick enough and was generous in its serving. Nice lunch. Will come back and try other dishes on the menu.
we have been coming to Acituation for some time. its previous mame was Asian Cuisine. this place is unassuming with stark decor but the food is delicious and value for money. the claypot rice has salted fish and Chinese sausage, very fragrant. the sambal fish...fillet is to due for and this is our favorite. the beef brisket noodle is tender and portions are very reasonable. hospitality is great too as it is a family run restaurant. have included picture of sambal fish but had started eating before remembering to take the photo. this place also serves poh piah.
After great reviews here got takeaways. Beef rendang,malay chicken curry and fried rice. $30. Friendly service. OK but not great. Beef was well cooked but a bit fatty. Enquired as to the cut of beef...no idea..Really? Several interesting places in this enclave of restaurants.All a...tad grubby looking.. but cheap. Going back? Probably not.

if you see the rating majority, are good to excellent. very few poor. can not understand how they can be bad, as described by some reviewers. the waiting staff is courteous and hospitable, the waiting time is usually fast, even if it is busy. Eating is authentic Malaysian/Spore...and the prices are similar to restaurants of this category.
tested the claypot huh, popiah and mee pok dry. all the dishes were not authentic and at best were low in average. we were in many Singapore/Malaysian foods and this is the lowest. I'm just going to eat again when the rest goes out of business. bambus next door serves much better Hawker food imho.
everything was so good that at night when I left, was quite full. asam laksa and popiah were the best dishes I had in this restaurant. in any case will come again for more. yun
I haven't visited this restaurant before, but I called in for some takeaway. I had the Ho Fun and the Curry Laska (myself and my wife) and it was so fresh and tasty

had chicken curry, bark meat rendang and nasi lemak. It's really good. Apart from beautiful food it was excellent value and good service. will definitely be asap.
This place does not look much from the outside but (or the inside for that matter) but the food is excellent and the stuff will trip over themselves to help you.
