Once again, a brand new staff team at this restaurant... The turnover rate seems to be faster than expected. The food quality and ingredients were inconsistent (with random variations), and despite friendly service, the staff seemed overwhelmed in a half-empty restaurant. They do have a good selection of beers. By the way, when are they going to update the OpenTable listing to remove the outdated menu that's over 2 years old?!?
The food was absolutely incredible. I was totally shocked that a small local pub would have such amazing vegan options. The cauliflower ravioli was amazing. And the vegan fish and chips were incredible, I never had one that was good before. The muddy peas need work, but apart from that it is 10/10

Please find a pub that makes vegan fish and chips! Huge part, crispy batter good piece banana blossom and beautiful big right chips! Just want more places would do this option, hopefully they will open. Coated mood also to the place. Réservez une table maintenant

On Friday nights, The Rising Sun offers a generous portion of Fish and Chips that is larger than anything you've seen before. This restaurant has been undergoing a transformation and is definitely worth a visit.
I stopped by for a quick lunch and was satisfied with the food and service at this small town restaurant. I don't understand why some people have only given it 3 stars.
