As a local living in Ascot, I have visited the Atalanta Bar & Greek 3 times since they opened early last year. In short, I’d say the restaurant is worth trying, as it offers contemporary, fine dining style Greek cuisine which is unique in this side of town. We’ve tried a number of their Meze dishes. Some dishes we tried were great but some were underwhelming. It’s slightly pricey, but it’s expected given it’s at Portside and the rent is high at this precinct. I wouldn’t say it’s good value for money as food portion is not big in general so if you are starving and just want to be fed at an affordable price, try Fresh N Wild Fish.  Over my three visits, I’ve managed to try a number o...

-----10 August, 2016----- We had lunch at Atalanta today and were not disappointed. The menu has a great range of dishes and the quality of the food and the service were both excellent. The only let down was the coffee - they really need to review the beans they use. -----7 July, 2016----- We went to Atalanta for a special Gazi Pop-up event hosted by George Calombaris. There was a set menu (drinks included) inspired by Melbourne's Gazi menu and cooked by George and the Atalanta team. This was, by far, the best night out we have had in a restaurant for as long as I can remember. We were greeted by friendly Atalanta staff who offered us an aperitif the moment we arrived. After several minute...

One of my new favourites. Great atmosphere although the restaurant side sometimes got a bit loud but being combined with a bar that's to be expected. Excellent lighting for food & social photos which I really appreciate. Great service where I found our waitress to be very friendly & helpful. Although perhaps not very intuitive as we did have to flag her down a couple of times for the same things (water, drinks, bill). The food, though!!! Words are difficult to describe how happy I was with the taste and portions of everything we ordered. The only thing that may have been a let down was the lamb in the meat platter. But everything else is to rave for. Would definitely recommend: sand...

My wife and I enjoyed a pleasant meal at Atalanta Bar and Greek on a Sunday evening. We dined on Saganaki, Goat Croquettes, the 'Goddess' Fries and the grilled mixed meat skewers for two. The service was very good (4) and the food was nice (3), but there was nothing exceptional about the meal. I tried a Greek beer - Mythos - and was not impressed. I would recommend that you steer clear. I would be happy to return to Atalanta, but won't be in any rush to do so.

After reading previous reviews I wasn't sure what to expect. First and most importantly the table service was excellent. The saganaki was yummy however the meatballs where average and the texture of the prawn mousska was strange ( the crab version on the menu was unavailable)

Menu was interesting and the food was delicious. The service was also friendly and accommodating. The drink we got in the jug was a little watered down and pricey. All in all a pleasant experience. Réservez une table maintenant

Fantastic food! Loved every dish we had. Cocktail and wine selection were great and service much improved from previous visits.   Definitely recommend the Greek Feast. Will be back.
