We chose Cloudland as it was airconditioned and beautiful venue to sit in - the restaurant was still uncomfortably hot and the service is absent of any tact with aggressive upsells.
We were extremely disappointed with every dish that was served to our table. As a party of 9, we experienced a half an hour wait between when the first and last mains were finally served. The food was bland and very average. Pad See Ew was flavorless, chicken & cashew was also very underwhelming. The pork belly was lackluster, and should be served salty and tender. Even the spring rolls were oily and improperly drained leaving a residue in our mouths.

I was wrong to avoid Cloudland...very nice example of Asian fusion cuisine in an eclectic environment. I wanted to take my wife someplace different in the lead-up to Mother's Day and knew that she has been wanting to go to Cloudland for a drink. Made dinner reservations at Madame Hedges and was very pleasantly surprised by the quality and presentation of the food. I ordered the Beef Cheeks Massaman Curry (obviously) and we shared a few orders of the skewered sweet and sour pork, Beef Bao and Duck Pancakes. The service wasn't spectacular, but the food was very good and she was happy with the libations as well.
I had my birthday dinner here on Saturday night. The service was terrible. As soon as we got there we were being rushed to order, eat and get out the door. no one had booked the table after us.
The menu has recently changed and is dissappinting. Their food used to be great. I had duck pancakes with only the tiniest amount of duck. Loaded with cucumber. Also fried rice which was average.
No one in my group was impressed. That's 12 people who will not return to Madame Hedges.
The restaurant we were supposed to go to could not fit us in. A party of 9 and four were vegans/vegetarians. A quick look on Zomato and Madame Hedges came up. A quick look at the menu and everyone was happy. I rang, they managed to squeeze us in.
The service is great. The food is brilliant and ridiculously cheap. The fact they have vegetarian/vegan options makes this a great option.
My only niggle is it is a little noisy but start eating and you quickly forget about it.

Coming from Sydney, i was totally blown away by everything sbout this place! It's amazing night out especially when it is cold outside and you didn't want to be trawling the streets...
The food was amazing, arancini balls were to die for!

Had a great lunch today at Madame hedges . The atmosphere is unbeatable and the food was very good . Would recommend the dumplings as a starter . Delicious and succulent. Soft shell crab was yummy as was the mushroom and Asian greens . Service was very attentive and informative and all very reasonably priced . Would highly recommend
Absolutely loved our dinning experience , love the Asian twist to the menu, our first dinning experience at Madame HedgeS, very relaxing on a Wednesday night. Love the chef's twist to the goat curry, yum yum yum. The salted prawns were absolutely delightful, mouth watering flavour in every bite. Thank u !!!
Madame Hedges was a pleasant luxurious surprise hidden within the Cloudland precinct in Brisbane Valley. The food here were Asian infused, flavoursome and service was attentive and filled with smiles all around.
