I have noticed the oversupply into the labour market of IT graduates who never find work in their chosen profession. They work in call centres, as taxi drivers, and hospitality staff as these two young people do in this restaurant. One was from Dubai and the other was from India. Universities should be careful not to sell a pipe dream to their prospective foreign students.These two young men were polite and professional. One was training the other on how to make fancy drinks. See photos.Why are they playing '90's strip club music over the radio p.a system? Who took photos of the Mexican street for the feature wall? Because the staff were nice, I would return.
I am normal not a person to complain but this was probably the most disappointing meal I have ever received, along with the most disappointing service. i order the Mushroom taco as i wasn't over hungry. when it arrived it came with maybe a dozen burnt mushroom slices in it and a tiny bit of lettuce and NO sauce. the mushrooms were so burnt that I could snap them in half. I ate one bit from it and then left it as it was so terrible it made me feel ill from the burnt taste. not once did the staff come and see how our meals were.
will defiantly NOT be returning to this establishment.
I wished Zomato had a zero rating because this would definitely be used for my burrito bar experience. I ordered a burrito to have take away, the service from the cashier was dull, glum and just not pleasant. She looked hungover and just not wanting to serve. As I proceeded to eat my burrito I realised with each bite there were only rice and meat. No onions,no tomatos, nothing. Just rice and meat. Well there goes my lunch.. in the trash.
In town for work. Stumbled upon this Mexican joint. Fair to say, pretty disappointing. For some reason the steak burrito had an Indian spice resemblance, and tasted in no way, shape or form the way you'd expect a Mexican burrito to taste. Would not recommend. Owners need to reassess what they are doing...

As a local I feel I must support this establishment and they never disappoint. The food is tasty and service is efficient and friendly. We can order takeaway or eat in with a beer, cider or sangria to accompany the meal. It is not expensive and it helps to add variety to the Portside area.
The worst food experience you could have without actually getting sick.
I want to like this place as it looks the part and a tasty Mexican option is perfect for Portside. However, this just isn't it.
You can feel the lack of love in the food...
Food was atrocious. Lack luster salsa and oily meat. Greasy in general. Disappointed at the lack of freshness and flavor "oomph" you expect from Mexican cuisine.
Service was good. Courteous waitstaff but food lets this place down big time.
Awful. Had the enchiladas. Barely any cheese and a slimy sauce over it which I guess was the refried beans. Only ate it because I was starving. Food was lukewarm. Will never go again.

I wouldn't go here again, only reason would be for the distance! Staff are so friendly and lively though! It is a nice relaxed places compared to other place around the shop
