"In a super crowded and stuffy room, we found ourselves not being able to speak even with those opposite us. Too tight, the restrictions due to Covid are far away. Good hunting but I couldn't appreciate it."

We chose this restaurant for a Sunday game on a recommendation from a friend. It was a 30-minute drive from our city near Lausanne to the hamlet of Mollens in the Waadt landscape. The entrance is discreet, but the mood changes as soon as we enter the wood-panelled dining room with a mixture of traditional and abstract paintings on the wall. Céline, the lady of the house, gave us a warm welcome and helped us select our white and red wines. We chose a glass of Pouilly Fusé and it went well with our Foie Gras Starter. I also enjoyed the sweet in-house baked Brioche slices served with the foie grass. The red wine Sant Emilion Fleur Cardinale was coarse enough for our rack of the venison main teaching. This dish again delivered us a variety of tastes and textures from sweet pear slices to caramel chestnuts. The venison meat slices were with a sauce that easily masks the taste of the game. For Dessert, we have selected orange slices that are broken into liqueur – just after a heavy meal. Despite a complete house we found the service excellent – always available without having to ask for something. Our only advice is to make a booking in advance, as this is a popular place for wild game.

As a family of seven for Sunday dinner. Select the menu. Little Amuse Bouche who was a Samosa. Followed by cooked foie grass. Perfect. The main course was a steak, cooked for perfection and of excellent quality. The dessert was simple, but delicious. CHF 65. We chose an excellent Cornelin form the Wallis. Service was excellent. Nice old dining room. They often have theme nights that are worth it, after... Will return....

I've heard about this place for years. They are known in the area for their game, I had never had the opportunity. Probably I was able to get a table for the same weekend, and both my friend and I were very glad we were. The portions were very large, and the food was absolutely delicious. The two ladies who serve us were fabulous. Well coordinated, they kept us very comfortable. The restaurant is cozy and warm.

Sunday lunch in this magnificent wood-panelled dining room. The man is behind the pans, while Madame serves precision and kindness. All our dishes were excellent. Foie gras,Mushrooms,Fish,Pintade,Gratin all made to perfection. Not to forget my lemon cake that was excellent. Excellent wines. In the beautiful Vaud landscape, this jewel is worth a visit.
