"Where to start? Food is amazing! We took a ‘Menu tradition’ for €28 where you get the entrance, main meal and/or dessert. We got 2 extra entrance meals as a welcoming meal, and they were great! Lamb for the main meal was so delicious and tender,words cannot describe! Portions are big, and you wont be hungry after! Atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and staff is friendly and nice. All in all, big recommendation!!"

Look maybe I ordered wrong, I appreciate I am in the minority with this review, but my main course and dessert here were really terrible. I had the cheapest set menu play de jour, I'm normally very open minded so didn't bother asking too much about the courses (maybe this is were I went wrong). My starter of duck salad was ok (by no means amazing) but the other courses were honestly awful, I couldn't finish them (this is very unlike me). The main was fish mousse and dessert was some fruit and custard dish both basically inedible. My fiancée had the steak and it was mediocre nothing special. Looking around at the food nothing appeared to be that special I could recommend. The restaurant serve...
Ce restaurant est de loin l'un des meilleurs de la région et une trouvaille rare. Je viens du coin et vis à New York à chaque fois que j'y retourne, j'aime beaucoup y aller : cet endroit est le juste mélange entre une cuisine gastronomique haut de gamme servie dans un lieu simple, bien agencé et authentique. Nous y avons déjeuné notre mariage civil (40 personnes et 12 enfants) et avons réservé tout le restaurant pour l'occasion. Tout le monde a été étonné de voir à quel point c'était bon et les gérants ont tellement tout organisé que le service est excellent. Je recommande vivement cet endroit!
Ce n'est pas un fast-food mais c'est le genre d'endroit où l'on va pour se contenter. la nourriture préparée à la commande est délicieuse. Les portions sont de bonne taille et le goût ah le goût est gravé dans la mémoire. Une mention spéciale a personnellement été un amuse-bouche de velouté d'escargots... un steak charolais qui me donne encore l'eau à la bouche rien que d'y penser... un vaste et magnifique plateau de fromages et lors de notre visite un soufflé à la Grande Marnier qui était léger et délicat et avait un merveilleux coup d’alcool au fond ! Vous ne serez pas déçu!
Covid has hammered many a restaurant badly, and it 's interesting see see which have survived, and how the survivors have coped. Auberge Larochette has stuck to the basics and with enduring success and charm. A Saturday lunch here, with the menu Terroir couldn 't have been better. Escargots, entrecote, a dessert soufflé, and the most exquisitely nice service you could imagine. I 've always loved this place. The chef is very talented. May they survive the pandemic in brilliant form ... and I look forward to the summer menu.
