We stopped by the A&W in Surrey 2332 160th St. as it was about the only thing open at midnight. We were on our way back to Washington after a long flight into Vancouver and were supper hungry. I cannot think of any A&W's in Washington but I remember how I loved them as a kid. Not only was this A&W about the cleanest fast food type restaurants I have ever been in, the midnight crew we're incredibly fast, friendly and clearly service oriented, and the burgers...... just as great as I remembered them from so many years ago. Open one in Olympia please!!!!
I have been a regular at this restaurant since it first opened. In the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, they were very diligent with cleaning and safety precautions. However, I have noticed that they have become more relaxed and the place is consistently dirty whenever I visit. My most recent visit a few days ago will also be my last, as proper cleaning protocols are no longer being followed and I do not feel safe eating there anymore.
Perfect breakfast made to order every time. Which other fast food chains get an all Canadian breakfast served to your table with real utensils and, plate, coffee in a mug, water in a chilled glass? Really great consistent service at this location. Long term staff that take pride in their work. 24hr breakfast too! Hard to beat at this price point prove me wrong!
I received great service from Michael, who recommended the delicious gravy on the poutine. He was right, it exceeded my expectations. A&W in Canada is superior to the ones in the states. The restaurant offers excellent service, biodegradable straws, and reusable dishes. Plus, it is open 24/7. Whenever I am in Surrey, I make sure to visit this place. Réservez une table maintenant
This is NOT a real location, DON'T go to it on the map. It's a duplicate of the A&W on 160th st and 24th ave in the grandview central shopping centre. Go there instead.The pin that shows up on the map is a residential townhouse development that's under construction. I have reported this error to google countless times but they don't seem to care...
The waitress with blonde hair was able to finally take my order after multiple attempts, but she seemed quite frustrated and lacked attention to detail. It appeared that there was no manager on duty, which was concerning. The lack of organization and management at this restaurant was truly disappointing.
