Although the service was somewhat slow, due to only one server for the whole place, the food came fresh and tasty. The number of bread items was somewhat unexpected, although we now know that a typical German-Swiss breakfast consists of many types of bread. The number of pastries was amazing! On the first day we found parking directly near what was a plus. I wish I could try their many fantastic pastries on fullscreen as you enter. I think they're putting croissants in the house, so don't order them. I saw a converted house.
This bakery was across the street from our hotel, so it was convenient for purchasing items to take with us (there is also a sit-down cafe). The pastry and breads were excellent (very light croissants), and the display cases had all kinds of wonderful looking desserts. Try the Vanilla Stange, a long pastry with a custard filling.
A bakery that has both an indoor and outdoor seating area. The outdoor seating area is delightful in the summer months. A wide choice of items to eat either from the menu, or pick the pastry you want from the extensive selection in the glass display cases. Fast free Wi-Fi.
