The Bahnhöfli Oberi is my favorite restaurant in Winterthur. Since I (still) live on a subsistence level, I can rarely go out to eat, but when I do, it 's good. Mother invited me to dinner yesterday and so we were guests in the evening. Although it wasn 't our first time visiting the Bahnhöfli Oberi, we were impressed by the charm and of course the food again. I was very stressed in the afternoon and hadn 't eaten anything properly. But when we sat down under the cooling plane trees in the garden restaurant, which is very carefully and comfortably designed, and were served in a very friendly and attentive but yet uncomplicated manner, I felt really comfortable. We popped in for dinner spontaneously after a long hike. It was sunny and the outside was just a beautiful place to sit. Service was excellent, menu good one vegan and a vegetarian option, plus fish and meat choices. Our salad to start was really fresh and delicious. The mains were really quite lovely to look at and really excellent in taste. We will most definitely go back and eat at the neighbourhood restaurant again!
Wir waren eigentlich auf der Suche nach einem anderen Restaurant, als wir am Bahnhöfli vorbeigekommen sind. Es waren ein paar Tische besetzt, also sind wir geblieben. Der Ober kannte seine Getränke leider nicht, das aber nur am Rande.Auf der Karte waren nur eine Handvoll Gerichte, das Essen frisch und sehr gut.Der Service war sehr freundlich und schnell.Insgesamt ein netter Abend.
Das Restaurant wurde letztes Jahr komplett neu renoviert und neu eröffnet. Die Küche bietet saisonale Gerichte mit Produkten aus der Region an. Der Gastraum ist hell und freundlich. Wir waren bisher 2x zum Mittagessen dort, beide Male haben wir sehr gut gespiesen zu einem vernünftigen Preis - sehr zu empfehlen. Das Restaurant ist eine Bereicherung für Oberwinterhur. wunderschön renoviertes gemütliches restaurant. top essen - endlich mal eine kleine karte - bei der man wert aufs kochen mit frischen zutaten legt. (da geduldet man sich auch gerne etwas beim warten aufs essen). nicht nur ein gaumen- sondern auch ein augenschmaus - auch der menusalat - aber zum glück ohne unnötigen schnickschnack. kompliment.
