Bamboo Inn Restaurant

I just drove passed this restaurant and figured I would give it a try as a visitor to comic. As soon as I walked in I felt un welcomed. There were no other customers in sight and I should have taken the hint. I took a menu and before I could read the first line, I was immediately was asked you want to order. I expressed to the lady that I had never been there before and I need to read through the menu. So she said okay take a seat. I just got back from this restaurant we ate their buffet. The food was completely awesome. Everything was fresh, and tasty. I saw an aweful review on this restaurant from 3 weeks ago. That lady must have been out of her mind. The food's great, There was huge mussels big prawns, duck!!, dumplings, amazing green beens. Omg everything tasted fresh and wonderful. So happy to eat at a buffet again!! the staff was great and they are genuinely happy that we have come to their restaurant. We will definitely return.Thank you so muchJane Craymer.

Owner is so friendly, employees are great ?, environment look around clean, had their 1,Honey Garlic pork( garlic is strong tasty,crispy,if you like garlic like me hehe : 2, Special House BBQ Pork Fried Rice even so fabulous ?,I like rice anyway. So awesome ???, of course their Buffet is the best with Tempura Prawns, Mussels, BBQ Ducks, salt &pepper Chicken wings... Best price in town ? Yum yum !!!Parking: Easy to find parking lot.

Been years since I’ve eaten here and I don’t normally take the time to do this cause I’ve just got a grim trigger and will never return to a place I don’t enjoy. But this was the worst meal of my life, hands down. I’ve eaten dry dog food with infinity more flavour then anything in the restaurant. Will never even think about returning. I looked at three Asia cuisine buffet restaurants in Courtenay/Comox. One was really small, the other looked like you needed to be in the Chinese mafia to get in and the Bamboo Inn. The Bamboo is spacious and clean. The staff were super nice as well. I’d recommend this place for fast, good, all you can eat Asian cuisine.

Barley any beef in the beef chop Suey got like 2 tiny peices almost ridiculous as the order was like all noodles low veggies and very little beef. Not worth the price if they cheap out so much and give like zero beef.

Food was OK...but not brilliant..slow service..We did not think it worth a tip...so the server swore at us..!..Not going back..

Terrible buffet, empty of anything good. Lots of chow mein and rice but no meat dishes. I will never go back. Réservez une table maintenant
