Tried this place not so long after it opened, was excited to see something new open here & was hoping it could be our new go to dessert place. We tried a few things, a few little tarts & a brownie - took a bite or 2 on all of them and tasted like they have been in the fridge for a while and dried out. I do not know how that was possible considering we went there within the first week of opening. Had some friends that bought us a cake a few days ago as a thank you, I think it was called caramel & hazelnut cake. I've been going to this place for almost a year and loved every time I go there. Yet, today I asked one of the ladies that I will set outside and wait for my coffee, I kept waiting and waiting nothing came up until I had to go inside again and pick up my espresso. Also one of the cake part of it wasn't there on display. Hope you accept my constructive feedback and keep up the great work ladies!
J'ai trébuché sur ce joyau après une promenade le long du port de Darling le matin. La banquerie est une belle petite cafée inspirée de la française avec une sélection de café spécialisée. Il y a des papiers à lire, cool du personnel de bavarder à et j'aimais l'expresso à l'autre (Kenyan) Espresso et la passion -fruit-chocolat-chocolat-macaron - vraiment un endroit idéal!
I stumbled upon this GEM after a stroll along Darling Harbour in the morning. Banquerie is a beautiful, little French-inspired café with a specialist selection of coffee. There are papers to read, cool staff to chat to and I loved the single origin (Kenyan) espresso and passionfruit-chocolate macaron - truly a great place! Réservez une table maintenant
Un café de boulangerie inspiré français situé au coin de l'Union et de la rue Harris avec un large choix de pâtisseries, de petits gâteaux, de tartes et d'autres jolis aliments. Il y avait une attente extraordinairement longue pour le café à emporter, mais la banquerie s'est rachetée avec son défilement flaky raisin.
Walking home from pyrmont I needed water so I popped in here to grab a few bottles. Got caught up in the display cabinet and ended up buying a burnt caramel tart as well. Was nice. First bite pulled all the centre filling out hough as if it was a gelatinous disc. Wouldn't rush back for the tart.
A French-inspired bakery cafe located on the corner of Union and Harris Street with a wide choice of pastries, petite cakes, pies and other pretty edibles. There was an extraordinarily long wait for the takeaway coffee, but Banquerie redeemed itself with its flaky raisin scroll.
