The House Dining - Réservation de table

New all hours cafe bar restaurant run by some hip scruffy inner west dudes. Seems like they're still settling in to their new digs with a few light fittings unfinished. We had the bacon and egg brioche and the triple cheese toastie with fried green tomatoes and peppers. All excellent. Best part of the menu was the alcoholic juices after 11am. The space itself was bitterly drafty. The doors opening onto noisy King Street need to be closed during these colder months. Service was friendly (they are just dudes running their own cafe).

The milk bun with bacon and egg was incredible. The bun was so light it was really just a vector for ingesting yummy bacon and egg and the mayo had a nice heat and just added to the whole experience. Coffee was delicious. I love the way they used the wall opposite in the alleyway for street art and then repeated the motif on the pillar inside the bar area.

Really nice cafe and bar with friendly staff and lots of dogs.  The coffee wasn't bad although had a rather unusual flavour but the food really stood out.  Fairly standard breakfast fare but with twists like lots of sambal and hash and my bowl had a whole potato and half an avocado.

Came here for coffee twice while visiting Sydney. Lovely staff, even better coffee and overall a really nice experience. I also really enjoyed the little Easter egg in the doorbell put a big smile on my face! Réservez une table maintenant

The staff consist 100% of scruffy Newtown bros, but they always make me feel welcome and comfortable. Fantastic menu filled with hashies. The best comfort food breakfast menu in Newtown, and good coffee.

Had been enjoying coffee from these guys everyday of the covid19 situation. Have sadly moved out of the area for a short time. Nice, friendly staff- awesome coffee.

Terrific coffee and friendly service. Only gripe would be the buns...ditch the burger buns for sourdough or brioche...and the place could do with a good clean.

Great coffee. large cap at $4. had the mushroom and egg thing which was huge and tasty $18. Great friendly guys serving. free WiFi. good place to hang. Réservez une table maintenant
