Barillas Restaurant

When someone tells you their plates are huge BELIEVE THEM. I've taken so many people to eat here and I tell them to only order one thing and they never listen. This is by far one of my favorite places to eat in the RGV. The service is great. Marlen is always super attentive and quick. She's kind and fun as well so it's always a good experience. She always remembers me and my family (both immediate and extended) which makes me feel right at home! Food is always hot, fresh and delicious. While exploring the city for the Walk to End Epilepsy, we grew tired and hungry. That's when we decided to stop by this restaurant. The staff and management were incredibly kind and engaging, making our visit even more enjoyable.

My partner and I ordered the mar y tierra for two and a large shrimp cocktail. It was delicious! The red and green sauces were just the right amount of spice. Next time, we will ask for extra tortillas. Réservez une table maintenant

botana for two can feed 4 people easily! we mixed it, bark and chicken and the meat was tender and tasteful. the first time we'll try and be back here! I left more to eat than we ate, huge portions.

Although not a glamorous looking place , but they give you a lot on your order , shrimp were awesome big and delicious. My sister and I ordered a seafood botana for one and still had food left over

We ordered the appetizer platter for two and shrimp cocktail. The portions were generous and the food was delicious! We will definitely be coming back!
