as unfamiliar with hobart's breakfast restaurants, we stumbled on basket and green on a Saturday morning. the waitress greeted us with a magnificent smile and found a table in the corner with a view of our colleagues and an animated elizabeth street. The breakfast menu is simple and tempted me to have a rosti and coffee. my partner had eier and crushed avocado and coffee. we were both enthusiastic about our decisions. experience the smiling service and fresh food to the breakfast! this is a happy change to the city breakfast.
The almost unfinished look in decor caught my eye,when inside service was a little slow, but plenty going on. A prime candidate for Annie served me with the most vivacious smile and enthusiasm, polite friendly and real. An awesome coffee appeared,best yet, followed by an amazingly good rosti accompanied buy spinach,tomatoes, mushrooms, pesto, a perfectly cooked egg,oh yes and a side of bacon cheekily appears on the plate. So good, I'm going again tomorrow. Well done.
