Batesy’s BBQ and Bar was the ideal place for lunch after our three-mile walk along the boardwalk. As first-time visitors, we chose Batesy’s, and it turned out to be a fantastic decision. Gerard welcomed us right away with a warm smile, and both he and Chris provided us with outstanding service. We ordered the Batesy’s Beach Box, which was more than enough food for three people and offered great value. I came here a few times, and all I can say is that the food was delicious!! You need to order their wings!! I literally go on ubereats on a lazy Saturday night and order my wings because they're great size, and the seasoning is on point!! If you like a sweet drink, definitely get the Jolly Ranch!! I visited this restaurant once and was genuinely impressed. The menu is full of fantastic and delicious options. You should definitely stop by for some great dishes. I had the chicken sandwich and fries, which were simply delicious and fresh. The prices are reasonable too. Eating in was enjoyable, as I got to try their frozen mixed cocktails and other mixed drinks. Overall, it's definitely a place you should visit!
The staff was really accommodating and friendly! We were greeted right away and received our drinks and food pretty fast.The food is very cheap compared to other places in the city. I got the brisket sandwich with a side of Mac and cheese.The brisket could’ve been seasoned more. It didn’t really do it for me.Would love to come back and try other items on the menu. I waited over 30 minutes for a BBQ sandwich at this restaurant, and it wasn’t even busy at the time. To make matters worse, they got my order wrong. I can only imagine how chaotic it must be when there are more customers. I would rate this place just 1 star. I definitely recommend avoiding it if you can.

The best BBQ food I've had in a long time! I highly recommend the St. Louis ribs. The drinks were fantastic as well; the Henny Colada is the perfect summer refreshment!
I tried the food from there for the first time, and I was pleased with everything I ordered. I plan to return to explore more of their menu.
