Bâton Rouge Grillhouse

I went out for dinner with my wife and daughter last night. I ordered the 10oz ribs and my wife had the top sirloin salad. The food was fantastic, and the service was excellent. We ran out of milk for our baby, and the server kindly brought us some at no charge. The restaurant was very accommodating and friendly! Since I'm new to having a gluten allergy, I accidentally ordered a beer without realizing it contained gluten (a silly mistake, I know!). When I realized I couldn't drink it, they took it back immediately and didn't charge me for it, which I really appreciated. We'll definitely be coming back!

I had an amazing experience at Baton Rouge! We went there for a birthday dinner with a group of 12, and the atmosphere was fantastic. The manager, or perhaps the owner, truly went above and beyond. She is always incredibly welcoming, but knowing it was a special occasion, she made an extra effort to celebrate my birthday and made my elderly grandmother feel special too. This location is always my go-to choice for ribs, and the food never disappoints! Our waiter was great as well. Thank you, Baton Rouge Candiac!

I was very disappointed with the chicken tender salad. The lettuce was brown, and the chicken was awful—I felt nauseous for the rest of the night. The chicken tender plate had the same poor quality chicken and was also inedible. I won’t be returning.

I've had three experiences at this restaurant, and each time the food made my family and me sick. The octopus was particularly awful and far too expensive for a place like this, which I would rate as mediocre at best.

Avoid going downtown on game nights if you don’t want to pay elevated Event Menu prices. It’s more affordable to visit the Dominion Square Tavern, where you won't feel rushed or crowded.
