We were a small group sitting on the terrasse. than half of us ordered plates, the kids wanted desert, and we all bought pitchers of sangria for than half an hour after we ordered our food and specified who did not...want to eat, the boss came and with a VERY condenscending tone told us we were all to order a plate or we could not drink. He also took the time to let us know all the clients he lost by sitting us here. I felt like we were some year olds and we were being so lucky he sat us here now we need to order an expensive plate or get up and leave. Very Cute little bistro staff is very welcoming! Food is good a bit pricey. We ordered the foie gras ways,it was very good! Although the little crackers they gave us to accompany the foie gras were VERY salty. I felt like I was eating...just pure salt. For the main course we ordered fish and chips,it was average not worth the price of The cassoulet for was delicious! It was a good portion of bacon,sausage, duck leg and the bottom of the skillet was filled with beans. The bacon had a nice fix of sweetness and saltiness. While the duck meat easily fell off the bone. And the sausage with juicy with a hint of spiciness. Overall a good place to go for dinner.

This bistro has an excellent but limited menu. Wine list covers every taste but also limited. reds, reds in bottle size and about white/rose/champagne. The menu offers choices from local suppliers. We had as appetizer the Tian of lobster and shrimps...which was excellent. As a main dish we tried the Nagano filet of porc and the lamb with stuffed calamari both were also excellent and cooked to perfection. The chocolat lava cake was done to perfection with a rich chocolat sauce. Ask for Kevin during weekends

Atmosphere nice, food is tasty and used to be of good value. What an incredible disappointment since my last visit. The portions are about the size of an entree now. My wife and I both got the bison tartar. for fifty cents worth...of chips, an embarrassing leaf salad and a tartar about the size of fingers wide and half finger tall. Absolute rip off to charge for something I could make at home for less than Will never return.

This charming bistro has a very welcoming staff and serves good, albeit slightly expensive, food. We tried the foie gras two ways and found it to be very tasty, although the accompanying crackers were a bit underwhelming.

Fresh green salad starter and a main of pork with beans and pear was quite lovely. Staff is bilingual which is convenient and welcoming in this part of the world. I would recommend their offering warmly.

Discovered this restaurant through a coupon I bought and I'm so happy I did. Intimate, great menu explanation and recommendation from the server, and the food was heaven. Will definately be back!

The restaurant in the Old City of La Prairie has a charming atmosphere. The food is delicious and the staff is very pleasant. I will definitely be adding this to my list of favorite restaurants.
