Ate here last year to celebrate a friends birthday, good pub Sunday Roast. Came back a year on to celebrate again and not disappointed. Very busy, excellent service, lots of staff and very attentive. Our party had roast chicken, lamb, beef and steak and ale pie and no complaints. Hope to be back soon. Visited The Bay Horse as a party of 7 on a Friday lunchtime with ex-colleagues (retired). Food was excellent, timely served and good value. Can't rate the staff highly enough, friendly and highly attentive. Best to book as it appears to be very popular and rightly so. We had a lovely visit to the Bay Horse. The staff were friendly and our meal was really nice. The chips are homecooked and absolutely delicious. I'd go back for the chips alone. Just one little thing, my Chicken in leek and mushroom sauce could have done with being a bit more creamy and with a little more seasoning. Apart from that, perfect!
Went here for an anniversary lunch, all seemed fine had the parmo and the chicken curry. We both thought the food was average. The chips looked and tasted like they had been reheated. Fast forward 90 minutes and we both had bad tummy's and the only place we had eaten was here. Not a pleasant anniversary experience. We won't be back

What a lovely place it is here. It was full of diners by 7.30pm which to me shows it has a good reputation. All our waitresses were really lovely and attentive. The food here is absolutely delicious, you get a fair size portion too. Highly recommended Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
