Beavertails Banff (east)

YES! IT'S THAT GOOD!!I think we've all had Elephant Ears before... greasy, soggy, sugary. Well...beavertail is the much more refined, perfected version (and frankly: tastier). You can pick any of the toppings you would like, up to three when creating your own and 1 spread. It was wonderful. fried perfectly and evenly and my mouth is drooling just thinking about it....I chose hazzlenut chocolate spread, banana and god knows what else as well as chocolate syrup and caramel and the list goes on.... just look at the pictures and you will understand my love for this treat!

Good pastries. Beaver bites (beaver tail balls topped with gelato and hazelnut sauce) were good although we were expecting more pastry to gelato ratio like the picture implied. Our group loved the classic beavertail and one that was dressed up. Good times with gluttony.

They essentially serve elephant ears with various toppings. I ordered half banana chocolate and half Skor cheesecake, and it was fantastic. If you're visiting Banff, this is a must-try! While Edmonton has a Beaver Tail food truck, it can be a bit difficult to find.

The restaurant was bustling, even with the weather and time of day. We ordered the Skor cheesecake beavertail, and while it was a bit messy, it was simply heavenly. I can't wait to try more flavors the next time we visit Banff!

This is a must-try in Banff! The warmth of the beavertails is the perfect complement to the chilly weather. I recommend the cinnamon and sugar or the chocolate hazelnut for two delicious flavors. Highly recommended!

I love this place. Must go place when you visit Banff! There are two locations in Banff downtown. They also have icecream and poutine etc. The people who work there are always delightful and nice.

Love the Avalanche the most! Second is the triple trip. Yummy! Find the cookies and cream a little too sweet for my liking. But will not stop me from coming back to this place.

Delicious pastry goods served here. A Canadian Classic. Dessert type foods with an assortment of toppings. Yum yum. There is something for everyone and is a must try.

Delicious pastry goods here, been here a couple of times. Pastry is made to perfection not burnt or soggy. Service is fast and staff are always friendly.
