OG Becky’s fan here. I’ve always enjoyed their bbq. I was so sad to see them close, but even more excited to see that they were reopening under new ownership. I’ve been waiting for this! I believe today is the first day back open. A few things that I noticed are the prices have gone up quite a bit, but when you enjoy a place so much, you’ll spend the extra money. I noticed that the quarts of pulled meat are no longer filled to the top, which is a bummer as the prices have gone up and the amount of food has gone down. During our drive home from vacation, we decided to stop for a quick lunch and arrived just in time to beat the lunch rush—always a good sign for food quality! The meal was fantastic, but the service truly impressed us. The woman at the counter was exceptionally kind to our 3-year-old daughter, making our entire family feel welcome and at home. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. We just left, and I’m already longing for more of their cornbread!
I was happy the place re opened I knew the menu was gonna be different but unfortunately the food was not good. The owners are really great. The ribs are hard to chew they don't fall off the bone like they used too. The mash potatoes isn't good at all. And the corn is decent but compared to the old Becky's and the new. It's not worth the money. I'd love to come back if the menu went back to the old.
CAUTION. The food was decent, but the BBQ could use more sauce. However, I was disappointed to find that the Woodcutter dinner, advertised at $44 on their website, actually cost me $85 when I picked it up. I was informed it was a price increase, but I don’t think it's worth that much.

I can’t believe it took me so long to try this place. Becky’s BBQ is a must have for anyone staying in the Middletown/Newport area. I got takeout and the food tasted amazing even after a 20 mins drive home. Will definitely try again.
The food was absolutely amazing. I had the pulled pork and brisket and they had plenty of flavor and were moist. The Baked beans and potatoe salad were great. The best part was the price. I will definitely be back.
BBQ chicken was very moist and delicious. The Mac and cheese needs more cheese and milk and less pepper. It was dry. Baked beans were good but should be cooked longer. Cornbread was great!
The food was absolutely delicious, though it was a bit expensive. I will definitely return, but not as frequently as I would like.

Still taste the same, the corn breads better not dry, backed beans so much flavor! will be going back
