Arrived in Bude Fri evening. Looked for a place to eat. 1st pick was 2 Belle Vue Avenue on the strength of previous reviews. Luckily there was a space for 2 with no booking (but this was indeed lucky book ahead). This is a small venue with maybe 7 tables. 1 server who was fantastic, and is pretty intimate all round. And the food? Top class. It's a small menu, but it's all you need. We had seabass (both if us) which were 2 x fillets and came with 2 king prawns on brilliant mash with a drizzle of sauce to die for. What a wonderful bistro! The food was excellent each element of our meal was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented and with only 16 covers in the restaurant, there was a cosy, intimate ambience. The friendliness and attention to detail of the young lady serving us was a joy. It was so good that we tried to book again for the following evening, but, unsurprisingly, it was fully booked. We would highly recommend this place. It made our short stay in Bude memorable.
Went for dinner booked for 7.45, took about half an hour to get our drink and an hour and ten minutes to get our dinner. I wouldn't mind if the food had been really nice but the food was very average and the restaurant only had 16 people in it.
The meal was outstanding, and the staff was extremely accommodating. Overall, we had a fantastic evening. The menu had so many great options, it was hard to choose just one. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant regularly.

Another fantastic meal , great flavours, well presented good value , from the calamari, fried hallumi, locally produced steak to the duck confit sensational. Friendly humorous waitress a fab chef, in a cozy setting. Thanks guys.
The restaurant is cozy and serves delicious, expertly cooked dishes. Our group enjoyed a variety of dishes including hake, duck, and steak, and everyone was pleased with their selection. The desserts were also mouthwatering.
The food at this restaurant was incredibly tasty; every starter and main dish we ordered was fantastic and we could have easily chosen any item from the menu. I would definitely return if I found myself in Bude again.
Great service, delicious food (good generous portions) and a warm ambience completes. All food cooked on the premises by owner and chef. Recommend the specials. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Amazing food, every dish was a hit. best meal out in a long time. V friendly staff. Would definitely recommend. Only negative this was our last night and we would have loved to rebook.
