I catered a 20 person Passover meal that was supposed to arrive between 8am 2pm on the first day of Passover. I had to stay home from work, of course, to be able to receive the delivery. After hours of “we’re almost there,” the order was delivered at 6:15pm, just as my guests were arriving. All the food was cold, and the soup was frozen ice. Man, I wish I tried this place sooner. It’s deceptively big inside and has old school diner vibes. The service is super friendly, the prices are fair and the food is terrific. Fan of pickles and coleslaw? They make their own and they’re superb. Oh, and they’re bottomless too. Puts the gross soggy pickles and coleslaw at Neptune Diner to shame… in fact, everything I’ve tried here puts the Neptune equivalents to shame. The corned beef sandwich is big and great quality. They also offer it extra lean which is a nice option to have, same goes for the pastrami. The french fries here are made fresh and they taste it. Will definitely be making this a mainstay. It may not offer the variety of a diner...
I was feeling unwell and requested a friend to bring me some chicken noodle soup. The soup tasted like chicken broth with lots of noodles. The following day, my friend brought me chicken matzoh ball soup from Knish Nosh on Queens Blvd. The difference was incredible. It was homemade, not overly salty, with generous chunks of chicken and a few carrots. I will never order chicken noodle soup from Ben's again!
My family had lunch here and it was great. Food, service and atmosphere was nice. I had a turkey special but they are really know for their hotdogs, kinishes and pastrami sandwiches. They have many different things to eat but that is the popular menu items.

This is not our first visit to Ben's Deli, and we were there last week. I ordered a pastrami sandwich on fresh rye bread and was very disappointed with the small portion and dry pastrami meat. I don't think I will be going back there again.
If i could give 4 1/2 stars i would. Great deli and one of the few places in bayside that has cel-ray soda. I haven't had much of the menu yet but occasionally i grab hot dogs.
The food was delicious, but the server's service was lacking. However, the manager went around to check if everything was fine, which was nice.
I would advise you to close this Place! It’s Dirty, filthy dirty with dust and crud on the couch and counter, tables and floors are disgusting

The service at this restaurant was excellent, despite the waiter appearing quite busy. The food was also delicious.
