I have been going to this place for as long as I can remember ... we used to go with family and get the Steam boat Hot Pot to share but nowadays I eat one thing and one thing only The seafood clear rice noodle soup. I dont come here for the service or the atmosphere, but this is my go to for a much needed noodle fix (which occurs once a month at least! Just thinking about it makes my mouth water. The soup is full of flavour, the prawns are crunchy and fresh, and I love the wilted lettuce in the broth dipped in a chilli sauce/hoisin/lemon mix. So yummy! It has gone up in price slightly but I am still happy to pay for it as long as it continues to taste amazing!
Although the service was fast and prompt, it felt quite rushed. A slightly more expensive price range compared to your usual Vietnamese/Chinese joint however this is most likely due to location. Our whole table had a bowl of Pho noodle soup each and I can say it was quite good. I'd personally say that it's better to take the trek to sunnybank/Inala for your Chinese/Vietnamese cuisine fix but if you're not wanting to then this place ain't so bad
This time together with Mr, we visited Ben’s for lunch. Quite a bit has changed in this complex and I have noted some new restaurants and bakery, which I am sure will attract the staffs from Mater Hospital. I was craving for pho so we ordered their combination beef pho, and it did not disappoint. The broth was hearty and it was generous in terms of the beef and noodles.

Service was slow but the seafood Chow Mein was had a nice flavour and the king prawns a good size. The decor could be updated but not a derterent for me not to eat there again
