I used to Love Big Lots when they first started coming around. This location is in the old Motor vehicles building in east brunswick. It is HUGE! I've been to many locations thru the years. They've really changed their products and obviously their prices. They added furniture in the last 10 yrs and upped their patio furniture also. The one thing I liked about Big Lots was their prices and their ability to have odd ball and weird stuff. Now it seems they are competing with other stores. Their prices are higher than Walmart. I encountered a rude and unprofessional man at the desk in the furniture section. While browsing the store, I wanted to dispose of a candy wrapper in the trash. However, when I approached the bin at his counter, he refused to let me use it and instructed me to throw it away in a bin outside the store. Is this how you treat customers? Wouldn't it be better to allow people to dispose of their trash properly rather than encouraging littering in your store?
Bought an Ultimate Stone Sofa from this store. The item came damaged and now I am having a hard time dealing with their customer service to get it returned or exchanged. They charges 99$ for a 1-day delivery but the product delivery took 4 days and came in damaged. They don't take it back even after the damage was clearly visible. They want you to pay for the return again and the process takes forever. Avoid !! Avoid !! Avoid !!
I visited the Dollar Tree store on Route 18 South, and I found everything I needed there—seasonings, snacks, and more. It's a fantastic Dollar Tree with a wide selection of name-brand items. Everything you could want is right at your fingertips, and the employees are incredibly friendly.

Went to buy a recliner. There were no other customers in the store and a handful employees. Was there for 22mins and was not approached by anyone. Left the store and bought 2 recliners from another company that greeted me as soon as I entered the store.
they have good finds, and good deals, but there are never employees on the floor. they are only at the register, so if you need help with something, there is nobody to ask.
This store is in a good location and has variety of tems, from clothes, health products, furniture and many food selections. The service is excellent.
If you're fortunate, you'll be able to enjoy what you desire before it's sold out.
