My husband and I have been going to Bill's for years. We've always loved the atmosphere (warm, cozy, upscale pub-like) and the top-notch cocktails. However, our last two visits have been disappointing. The food, while good, was not what we usually expect from this place. On our most recent visit, I had the walleye which was fresh, but virtually tasteless. The fish was accompanied by a side of beans that took up the majority of the plate. In my opinion, beans would have been better as a small accompaniment, or replaced by a nicely grilled vegetable and/or crispy potato as a counterpoint to the soft, flaky fish.
