The service at this restaurant was disappointing. I went for lunch on a quiet afternoon, but the young waiter in his 20s who took my order was very rude. He made me wait 20 minutes, and I noticed my food sitting under the heating lamp while he was busy on his phone. When I asked if that was my food, he dismissively replied that he was busy. Throughout my meal, he continually stared at me and made loud, aggressive noises while clearing other tables. I understand that this is a burger joint, not a high-end restaurant, but I don't think I deserved to be stared at and made to feel uncomfortable just to receive my food while it was still hot.

I have visited Billy's many times. While there aren't a lot of vegan choices (only two burger options, fries, and loaded fries), the ones they do have are always tasty. My favorite is the char siew, a flavorful and indulgent mock meat dish that offers a nice alternative to the typical veggie burger found at non-vegan burger spots.

This restaurant used to serve the best burgers in Hobart, but the quality has drastically declined. It is now extremely disappointing, as the food is now unappetizing and messy.
