I had an absolutely amazing experience at Bin 5 and I highly recommend that everyone reading this drop what they are doing and immediately make a reservation here. I had wanted to go for a while and never made the time but I am so glad that I finally did. Every employee we spoke with was kind, attentive, and happy to answer any questions we had. We came here for our friend's birthday. We were greeted by the host and sat promptly. The restaurant was clean and nice with beautiful decor; they also seemed to adhere to COVID regulations of social distancing the best they could. The worker there Nicole was very nice, cool, and knowledgeable of the food. Was even able to show her a pic of food that they had on the past menu and they were able to make it. I have been here a few times over the years. The other night was the first time back in a few years. The service is very friendly and helpful. At first I was seated next to the door but the manager noticed I felt cold so he asked if I would like to sit in the garden which was nice. The garden is rented and heated. It was warmer in the garden. The menu is varied, there are short ribs, duck, and bone marrow on the menu which is rare on this island. My only complaint is I wish there was a fish other than salmon on the menu. There was calamari and dishes with shrimp but I would like to see something like branzino or another white fish on the menu. The cocktails are varied and mine was delicious....
Why is this the first time I'm going to Bin 5 .... I'm almost afraid to find out how long I've been missing out on this delicious food. First, the place is small and cozy. The service is great. Very attentive staff. The food is phenomenal. We had the crab cakes and meatballs as appetizers and it was hard to choose because I wanted to try everything. They didn't disappoint. For mains, I had the stuffed calamari over risotto and it was delicious. My hubby had the skirt steak quesadilla. The food was plentiful so we didn't finish even half of it but had to have the pistachio walnut cake which I would go back for again and again. I will be going back again and again !

Attentive, friendly and professional service! Great food and drinks! I had a reservation at 5pm on a Sunday. We were seated immediately (party of 3). The menu had so many delicious choices it was difficult to decide. We settled on trying several small plates: Burrata, Roasted Bone marrow, Breaded zucchini blossoms, Rice balls, meatballs and roasted cauliflower. All delicious with great flavor, cooked perfectly and came out timely. We had cocktails with dinner: Bee's Nees, Gold Rush and Lychee Martini... all delicious. Just wow. So surprised I haven't tried this yet! So new ownership for past 6 years. The specials were cod with pistachio something or other. We got the filet mignon and scallops. Perfectly made. The octupus pineapple salsa was also phenomenal. Quite truly, they hit the mark in every aspect. Service was timely, everyone was super friendly. The outside area was beautiful, very quaint and romantically lit. A little buggy but not disruptive. Great music selection, bowie, elton john, carol king. Usually dont gush about places. We came after boxing and were in gym clothes and it was totally acceptable
My friend recommended Bin 5 to me and I also saw their posts on Instagram and wanted to support a local business as well. I've been meaning to stop by for a while, but I'm glad I finally did to get take out. I hadn't eaten all day and was craving a burger- their Bin 5 burger definitely hit the spot. I had it cooked medium, the burger comes with cheese and bacon along with a side of fries. As you can see, I couldn't wait to get home and decided to demolish the burger in my car. Why wait?
Last night I celebrated my birthday with friends at Bin5. We all had a great time. The drinks and food were delicious!! The staff was attentive and helpful with food suggestions.
