Eating alone at the New Year's Eve usually proves a challenge for those who do not want long festive meals or scrap fast food. Restaurant O 'Premier was the perfect choice for me: cozy but informal atmosphere, beautiful à la carte menu, top service. The focus is on the food, not on the party that the restaurant closed at 11 o'clock! A great thumb to the restaurant team: friendly and attentive service throughout the entire dinner. The hotel manager personally welcomed every table a much appreciated gesture. The food was really delicious. Many tables seemed to have regular guests whatever is a good thing. As a starter I chose the tagliatelle con fontina : tagliatelle, Belper Knolle (cass from the Bern region), Grappa, poached Egg. Really delicious, but definitely not conscious for health! As the main course the monkfish medaillons and accompanying Champagne risotto tasted very good, portion was generous. As dessert I pampered in an incandescent wine panna cotta served with a small chocolate cake. Definitely a pleasant culinary experience!
