This was my first hibachi experience since before the pandemic. I was lit. Could not have been more excited. I gathered the perfect group of guests and we made our way to the restaurant on this dark rainy November evening. We arrive to the parking lot, and are accosted by a hotel worker who was ripping a cigarette right at the entrance to the parking, flailing and yelling that we crashed our car with another exiting patron. This was not the case, as there had been no crash and no vehicles came anywhere close to each other. After this confusing and unnecessary exchange (wtf @Marriott) we checked in with the restaurant. We celebrated my husband’s birthday having dinner here. First I’d like to say it was not what I had expected. The hostess looked irritated even with a reservation we waited an extra 30 minutes longer. By the time she took us in to seat us she was rolling her eyes, extremely unpleasant, and overall just seemed like she was having a bad day. However, during hibachi the chef was really nice and pleasant. The guests we were seated next to smelt of marijuana and it reeked. Literally, everyone seated at our table smelt it. The waitress got our order wrong as well so we had to tell the chef we had missing orders. Everything looked old, the crowd were either high or drunk so everyone was obnoxious....
We dined here two consecutive days during our hotel stay. On Saturday, we enjoyed an appetizer and a sushi roll along with a glass of wine, which was just what we needed after our flight. On Sunday, we returned for dinner. Although the hibachi tables were bustling, we chose to sit at the sushi bar and were treated to excellent food and service on both occasions! The guests around us were clearly enjoying themselves—lots of families with children and people celebrating birthdays. It was a delightful surprise to find such a gem attached to the hotel!
We had our business Holiday Gathering here and the service was great! Never had to wait long for anything or look for someone to order anything. I had the Filet and Scallops which was perfectly cooked! We also had the Vegetable Tempura and Gyoza for appetizer and had to order more because they were so good! The Chef's are very talented and know their craft! Great place to have the Holiday Get Together!

I was at the NYE dinner. eating was quite good, but the chicken sauce seems to have changed into a sweeter taste. the show was good, but not as many displays as no hat tricks, vulkan was sloppy, and no fake squirt for children. fun yet, but not as good as the many times in pastness.

If you like teppanyaki, you won’t be disappointed. Chef put on a great show and food was delicious. Free meal on birthday was a nice surprise since we were celebrating a birthday.
